Raspberry Heaven Martini
I already did a post this morning, but I was thinking of Spring around here and this one hit me. So today, you are getting two recipes.
I am sure, due to lack of new recipes recently, you all thought I had given up on drinking martinis….not so, my friend! Here is a yummy, ever so good one. Think Valentine’s Day.
- 3 parts Raspberry Vodka
- 1 part Raspberry Juice (make your own)
- 1 part Chambord
- 1 part white chocolate liqueur
Pour all ingredients into a shaker filled with crushed ice. Shake really well. Strain into well chilled martini glasses and garnish with a couple of fresh raspberries and a big fat blackberry.
Oh yeah, more please! OMG this is good.
Merry Berry Martini
What a way to start the Christmas “spirit”. Try it!
- 2 parts Raspberry Vodka
- 1 part Chambord
- 1 splash White Chocolate Liqueur
Make sure the martini glasses are chilled (frosty, actually). Pour the ingredients into a shaker filled with ice and shake it really well. Strain into the icy cold glasses and add a couple of frozen berries (blackberries).
There, now go and open your gifts.
Scotty Bit Me Martini
This is for those who like the tartar to be removed from their teeth and their hair to stand on end…lol
It is a classic martini to enjoy.
Make sure your martini glasses are frosty cold.
- 15 parts Grey Goose Vodka
- 1 part good Scotch
- dash of Drambuie
Pour the scotch into the glasses and swirl around to coat the inside completely, then discard. Add the vodka and if you can stand the competition, add a dash of Drambuie so it floats on top.
- I made the mistake of keeping the scotch in the glass and made the martini. I served it to my stepson and he almost croaked. It was SOOOOOO powerful. Needless to say, he didn’t drink it.
Okay, now if you are still standing, make a wish for the New Year. I’m going to go and find another one….
Martini Proposal
If you are thinking of placing a little sparkle on the finger of your beloved, what better way to celebrate than with a Champagne based martini?
It is simple and can only be made the moment you start proposing. So get ready…
All it takes is frozen martini glasses. Pour the chilled vodka into the chilled glasses and top off with the Champagne. At a time like this, buy the good stuff (as good as you can). Add a couple flecks of edible gold flakes on top.
Wow, with that presentation, I would marry you! just kidding, I am already married to the best……Later.
Rudolph’s Red Nose Martini
This is the time of year to make the drinks look festive and, therefore, more enjoyable. You can dip the rims of the glasses in vodka and twist in raspberry syrup.
- 4 parts Vodka (Grey Goose is the best)
- 2 parts Chambourd (Black raspberry)
- 2 parts Creme de Cassis
Pour ingredients into a shaker filled with crushed ice. Shake until well blended and cold. Strain into chilled martini glasses, add a raspberry on the bottom.
Hint: If planning ahead, place the vodka in the refrigerator for a couple of hours to get cold.
Thank goodness, I thought I had stopped making martinis…..later.
Ice and More Ice Martini
When celebrating the holidays, I am always looking out for a new martini for everyone to try. This is a good one.
You will need:
- 3 oz. Mango nectar
- 2 oz. Vodka
- 1/2 oz. cream
- 1 oz. creme de banana
- 1 oz. Grand Marnier
Fill the shaker three-quarters full with cracked ice . Add all the ingredients and shake really well until it gets really cold. Strain and pour into your prettiest chilled martini glasses.
Add a few pieces of chopped mango in the bottom of the glass and finish with an orange spiral.
Yummy-Yummy in your tummy. Serve with a salty hors d’Oeurve.
Maxi-Cran Martini
It has been awhile since I posted a martini……is there any other kind of drink, especially when used as a signature drink? They are not hard to make, but to make it well takes practice. You want to be known as the ‘great martini maker’.
You will need:
- 4 parts Cranberry Vodka
- 1 part Grand Marnier
- 1 part white Cranberry juice
Fill martini glasses with ice. Pour the ingredients into a shaker filled with crushed ice and shake well. Remove ice from glasses and strain ingredients into chilled glasses. Garnish with a couple of fresh cranberries and a lime twist.
If you serve it in a white martini glasses, the red cranberry colour really ‘pops’. Great look, wonderful flavour, yum-yum.
Candy Cane Martinis
I was thinking of Christmas and I used this as a signature drink last year. Really yummy! Put it on the dinner plan you have going.

- 4 oz. vanilla vodka
- 2 oz. peppermint schnapps
- 2 1/4 oz. white creme de cacao, extra for dipping glasses
Pour a little white creme de cacao in a saucer and dip the rims of 4 glasses in. In a small bowl, put the crushed peppermint cane and dip the edges of the glasses to coat the edge. Fill a shaker with ice and shake ingredients to chill. Strain into glasses.
Remember, this makes 4 signature drinks. Two or more of these tasty delights makes it a hangover.
